Pastor Harry Therwanger, most commonly called ‘Pastor Harry’ is new to Resurrection in the summer of 2023. He comes to us with a wide variety of experiences. He has taught school, been a youth leader and parochial school chaplain, mentored pre-seminary students at the college level. He has worked in the development office and lead church relations for a church related university as well as leading congregations in Long Island and Chicago.

He is a native Chicagoan, but has lived in Texas, St Louis and Long Island as well. He graduated from Concordia University Chicago and Concordia Seminary.

He is a lover of history podcasts and avid reader, especially of current events.

Pastor married Ebon-Craig (Williams) Therwanger in 2016. They enjoy cooking, dining out and traveling among many other things.
